Buldana Urban Co-Operative Credit Society and Vishwakarma University entered into a memorandum of understanding to jointly lead and boost the cooperative sector movement for the benefit of the rural and semi-urban population. This is a first of its kind unique blend comprising of academicians and a cooperative sector organization.
The leadership team from Buldana Urban includes Shirish Deshpande (Chief Executive Officer) and Dhananjay Patil (Regional Manager, Pune), while Vishwakarma University has Bharat Agarwal (President), Dr.Siddharth Jabade (Vice-Chancellor) and Dr. Shailesh Kasande (Pro-Vice-Chancellor) on the team.
The center offers specialized diploma/degree programmes for the co-operative sector to empower and enhance employability of the rural and semi-urban population. It also organizes events, workshops and lectures to increase productivity, skills and abilities.
