Dada J P Vaswani delivered this message at a Peace Rally organized in the city on November 18, at AISSMS grounds, ahead of Sadhu Vaswani’s birthday celebrations. He urged students to get together and formulate a charter of animal rights. ‘Since we cannot give life to dead creatures, we have no right to take it away’, was his message to the people.
The Peace March, is a ‘Save Animals’ campaign of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, that aims to promote compassion, non-violence & reverence for all life, as a first step towards World Peace. Over 7000 students from schools and colleges in the city took part in the event. The gathering took an oath to be vegetarian on November 25, which is celebrated as International Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day.
