The MIT School of Technology Management (MITSOT) has expanded is Alumni Connect Program. The program is aimed at inspiring the students with more interaction with the past students.
Dr Milind Pande, Project Director MITSOT, said that the program includes workshops where the past students interact with the students and guide them with personal experiences. They also guide the students on how to prepare for campus placements.
“We have prepared an interface on our website which is linked with their social networking pages . Their current positions, place of work and any changes get updated on the website. The students are also registered on the website and can also interact digitally with the Alumni.
“The Alumni also is a part of Board of Studies which includes Industry veterans and meet twice a year to decide on strategies and improvements.
“Since the Alumni are past students, new students can feel more comfortable interacting with them and get inspired by the success of the Alumni,” said Dr Pande.
