RTI Katta and Moneylife Foundation, on the occasion of the 300th Katta is organizing a panel discussion on IS THE FLOODING IN PUNE A MAN MADE DISASTER? On Sunday, 6th October at 11 am.
RTI and civic activist experts will discuss on: Who is responsible for loss of lives and property?; What should be the action plan and way forward?; What are the demands of Flood Victims’ Families?
The Expert Panel comprises Sarang Yadvadkar who works on Pune’s floodline areas; Vijay Kumbhar, RTI expert, who specialises in illegal building & encroachment issues; Vinod Bodhankar, Researcher and Organiser of Jal Yatras; Abhijit Ghorpade – Senior journalist, who writes on Water and Environment and; Vinita Deshmukh – Senior Journalist, Author and RTI expert.
The event will be held at Elysium Hall, Ghole Road, next to Naturals Ice Cream, Off, Jangli Maharaj Rd, Pune 411005.
