India’s largest, independently owned chain of daycare centres, ipsaa, has launched its new centre at Magarpatta city in Pune.
The outlet is in the area of 7000 sq feet with natural light and a healthy environment. Separate areas are designed to suit the needs of all children as per their age and needs. The outlet has a safe outdoor play area. ipsaa is ready to welcome children for full daycare, pre-school and kindergarten programme and after-school daycare programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Kanchan Mittal, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at ipsaa said, “ipsaa is not just another daycare or pre-school that look after children in the absence of parents but ipsaa also ensure that we make every second that a child spends with us is a fun, embracing and learning experience. We provide a stimulating, creative, positive, and secure learning environment, to develop the child’s overall skills and self-concept”.
“Our aim is reaching to every mother who quit their professional life to look after their child so that she can resume her career,” Mittal, added.
The company currently operates over 75 centres in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Kolkata. With an employee strength of 400, the centres have a capacity of over 6,000 children. ipsaa plans to triple the centre capacities with the new launches.
A recent survey revealed unavailability of childcare is one of the main reasons why women quit from work, and ipsaa’s mission is to support quality childcare and support women in pursuing their careers and aspirations. Last year, the maternity act transformed the day care industry in India, and the opportunities have become multifold in the sector, for both unique day care centres, and corporate daycare centres. Apart from key residential centres, ipsaa operates daycare centres at HDFC ARGO, ICICI and many other institutions.
