Three award winning documentary films by renowned film maker Shri Sankalp Meshram will be showcased at the NFAI Auditorium. Shri Meshram will be present during the screening for interaction with the audience.
The first film, Lasya Kavya–The world of Alarmel Valli, is an exploration of her oeuvre, her style, her philosophy and her persona.
Into the Unknown is a film about a building, The Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown, Lisbon, by renowned architect Charles Correa. The film is an attempt to understand the philosophical and aesthetic roots behind the beautiful design.
Padmavibhushan Girija Devi, who passed away last year, is considered the foremost exponent of the ‘Purab Ang Gayaki’. The film ‘Girija – A lifetime in Music’, is an attempt to understand her stylistics, her work processes, her personal journey and her philosophy.
