WMC And PMF Join Hands With Maharashtra Government To Fight Covid19

In an effort to help curb the spread of Covid 19 in pcmc and Pune district, The World Malayalee Council and Pune Malayalee Federation have come forward to help the state government in establishing an expert Medical Team from Kerala.
An expert committee has been formed under the guidance of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Deepak Mhaisekar IAS. The team consist of Mr.  Vinod Chandra Menon Advisor Disaster Management, Mr. T P Vijayan Vice President WMC Global, Mr. K. Harinarayanan President Pune Malayalee Federation, Mr. P C Nambiar, Mr. M S Unnikrishnan, Mr. S Ganeshkumar, Mr Mohan Nair, Dr. Babu Joseph, Dr Rajeev Nambiar, Mr. John Thekkinkad and Mr Rajan R Nair.
The primary task of the committee is to arrange doctors, nurses and health workers those who are willing to come and serve in govt hospitals in pune especially in Covid zones.
The appointment shall be for a period of min 6 months to 1 year. Pune hospitals require MBBS, BAMS, INTENSIVISTS, ANESTHESIST & CHEST SPECIALISTS along with Nursing staff. Reasonably best salary package and accommodation facility shall be provided by the Govt. Under the guidance of Divisional Commissioner the above team has written to Kerala Health Minister Mrs. K K Shailaja Teacher, Industrial Minister Mr.M V Jayarajan and Health Secretary Kopragade IAS to send a suitable medical team to Pune immediately considering the rise in cases in Pune. Dr. Mhaisekar IAS complimented the Pune Malayalee community for their contribution in the medical fields and requested with malayalee organisations to cooperate and support the Govt to fight this pandemic.
