Pune, 13 July 2018: Pavitra Bhaskaran, 5th year architecture student of Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture (BNCA) was presented with Nandini Sapre award at a function held recently at BNCA.
The award in memory of renowned Architect and Desginer Late Nandini Sapre instituted by her family members was given away at the hands of Chief Guest and VC SPPU Dr Nitin Karmalkar in presence of Dr Anurag kashyap, Principal BNCA, Prof Shruti Joshi, Sadashiv Sapre – nephew of Late Nandini Sapre, Rucha Sapre and jury members Usha Rangarajan, Sandeep Mahajan, Narendra Panse.
The award consists of a prize of Rs 1.25 lakh which will help the student pay the fees for the entire year and a certificate.
Renowned Architect Nandini Sapre passed in January 2018 due to prolonged illness. She was 54 years old then. She was well known and expert architect and a partner with leading firm Chaney Architects.
