The Market Is Back For Your Organic Needs

Pune’s only regular organic market is back at The Monalisa Kalagram this Sunday, December 17, building a community that supports sustainable and organic lifestyles.

It will be held at the Monalisa Kalagram, Pingale farms, end of South Main Road, Koregaon Park, between 10 am and 2 pm.

Keeping a sustainable lifestyle in today’s urban environment is a wish for many, but sourcing sustainable products for every aspect of your life is not quite as simple.

Most organic and sustainable products are made in small quantities, making them difficult to find and source.

The only way for a society to adapt to sustainable habits is for people to come together as a community, connecting customers to vendors in a healthy, friendly and encouraging environment.

The Market by The Wagabond Chefs is a bi-monthly event, held on the second Sunday of every month in Pashan, Pune and the third Sunday of every month at The Monalisa Kalagram in Koregaon Park.

This month, The Market has a wide range of products to shop from.

These include: fresh fruits and vegetables, rice, wheat, millets, dals and pulses, sugar, spices, cold pressed oils, ghee, jiggery, chutneys, whole grain crackers, milk products, honey, pickles, gourmet cheese, sourdough bread, moringa, curcumin, juice squashes, sauces, corn flakes and breakfast cereals, rose water and gulkand, pasta, stationery, books, detergents, dish wash, floor cleaners, soaps, lotions and personal care products, eco-friendly disposables and tableware and natural jewellery.

Visitors are advised to bring their own shopping bags!

Old newspapers, bedsheets and towels will also be collected in support of the Resq Charitable Trust.
