After the successful launch of 6 exclusive stores across Delhi, Gurgaon and Bangalore, the affordable premium eyewear brand, John Jacobs, comes to Pune with its first-ever store at the Pavillion Mall.
The store was inaugurated on June 30th where customers were invited to avail a launch special ‘2 for 1’ offer on its newest eyewear. The 900 square feet store boasts of the latest collection of sunglasses and eyeglasses along with the limited edition ‘Classic Wood’ collection that was recently launched by the brand.
Since its inception in 2015, John Jacobs has achieved a 2x year-on-year growth and has clocked a revenue of 100 crore rupees in the last financial year (2017-2018). In the next 3 years, John Jacobs expects to grow 10x in revenue whilst expanding to 50 retail stores across tier I, II and III cities of India.
As opposed to expensive eyewear labels, John Jacobs brings a change in the industry by offering the trendiest and premium quality eyewear at honest prices.
Currently, the catalogue consists of 600 SKUs featuring the most fashionable eyeglasses and sunglasses of the season.
“Maharashtra is an important market for us. Pune holds a contribution of 10% to our overall online business and we’re ecstatic to launch our retail endeavour with a state-of-the-art store in this young culture hub of Maharashtra,” Manan Duggal, Business Head, John Jacobs said at the launch.
