The event organized by TEDx on November 26, is an offshoot of the TED talks, that began in 1984, to discuss technology, entertainment and design. The event, that was attended by people of various ages, started with a performance by Naadbramha, which was high energy and reflected the Puneri culture. Ashwin Naik, Organizer, TEDxPune event, gave the opening speech. He was followed by various other speakers including teenager Sumitra Naik; Ajay Saxena; Muzaffar Ali; Dr. Sonali Kataria, who works with autistic children; and Tanvi Kulkarni among others.
The talks were interspaced with a musical performance by Parag Bhide and Abhishek Tripathi, a dance by Tron and a performance by the retro band Teri Music Ki Chahat.
The flagship event left the attendees with a promise of more to come.
