The inaugural ceremony of MIT’s Persona 2017 was held on Saturday, 4th Feb at MIT ADTU Grounds, Loni Kalbhor. Padmashree Shri. Pankaj Udhas did the honours in the presence of Prof. Vishwanath Karad, Mr. Neelkanth Marathe, Mr. Sameer Kukade and others.
The 3 day techno cultural fest witnessed the participation of youth from all over the country. ‘Digital India and Make in India’, were the themes of the poster making competition held on Day 1. Participants got an opportunity to battles it out with popular games like Counter Strike, NFS, FIFA and Battle Code. Day 2 of the fest had dance performances, management events and competitions like Selfie’ish – Craziest Selfie Contest, “Persona Grata”- Personality Contest, Poster Competition, and Junkyard War-Model Making. Rocket launcher and Nitrobuster were some of the events that took place on Day 3.
Over 7000 students took part in the three day fest.
