The month long festival of the Arts “ Freedom Way”, at Gyaan Adab, opens on a musical note with two performances by Afterlight and Akashita Pravin. AfterLight is an acoustic/electric band whose music spans across various genres like alternative rock, folk and pop. The band comprises of Mark D’Mello, Nikhil Aarons and Elston Braggs. Akashita Pravin is an instrumentalist, composer, and singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in the blues and classical, with variants of jazz, folk, rock, indie and pop.
