March 17 witnessed the release of a book ‘The Standing Man’, by Kabir Mandrekar.
The novel takes you through the life of Bru, a seventeen year whose bold behavior, flippant attitude and candid honesty, make him a victim of physical and mental abuse. It explores the relationship with his abusive father, docile mother, astute shrink and love of his life.
Kabir, who is currently pursuing his MBA , started his career as a sports journalist . After dabbling in various projects over the years , he was finally chosen by Juggernaut to publish his work. This book is the result of his effort.
