L’Alliance Francaise de Pune, in association with The Poona Music Society and Pune Guitar Society, brings to you, a guitar and bass concert called Stringly Yours. The performance is led by Mishko M’Ba, a French bassist and Sankarshan Kini, a guitarist, better known as Shanks. MISHKO M’BA, is a composer, arranger, producer, bass guitarist and pianist, who has been part of various French and international concerts. Having performed with artists such as Ray Charles, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Raoul de Souza, Khaled and Didier Lockwood, he currently plays with Emergence, Mystic Vibes and Lucky Ali.
Shanks is a music producer, singer and instrumentalist from Bangalore. He plays the tabla, Carnatic violin, guitar, harmonica, trumpet and mandolin. He has performed with several pop and independent rock bands in Bangalore and Mumbai.
