Founded by Mrs. Nayana Chopade, Salon Apple, now in its 25th year of operations, launched its own label of skin and hair care products recently. All employees, franchisees and key customers were present at the event that celebrated women empowerment along with the launch of the new products. Actor Mahesh Manjrekar, was present to grace the event along with Mrs. Lila Poonawalla and Mrs. Maharashtra 2016, Mrs Shilpa Ojha.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Lila Poonawalla said that the vigor and enthusiasm with which Nayana has taken on her work was very inspiring and believes that she is an ideal role model for all budding women entrepreneurs.
Nayana has also started Fillit, an initiative to train men and women in beauty services. Her future plans include expansion of the Salon Apple chain, to the entire state and country.
