Gyaan Adab invites you to an evening of Hindi kavita and shayari presented on film. Comprising works of famous poets like Faiz-Ahmad-Faiz, Amrita Pritam, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Muktibodh and Bhagvati Charan Verma as well as stalwarts such as Ashok Bajpeyi and newcomers like Baabusha Kohli , the evening promises to be engrossing. Celebrity actors Piyush Mishra, Manoj Bajpeyi, Swara Bhaskar, Shilpa Shukla and Naseeruddin Shah, among others, bring the poems alive on screen.
These poems have been carefully chosen by authors and editors from around the country and brought to life by quality cinematography, art direction and music, giving them that special magic that they truly deserve.
The director, Manish Gupta, is a filmmaker, writer and a columnist who has been devoted to popularising poetry in Hindi. His ground-breaking YouTube channel ‘Hindi Kavita’ has gathered the cream of acting talent in India to present poetry. The endeavour has enthralled Hindi language lovers across the globe.
