The 5th edition of ‘Documentary Film Club’ will feature award winning documentary ‘A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings’ by film maker Prateek Vats. The film, anchored in the twilight years of the life of legendary Indian bodybuilder and former Mr. Universe, Monohar Aich, is a delicate and nuanced film consciously moves away from the evidential burden of a ‘biopic’ towards an intimate portrait – A story that transcends time to reveal the oddities that make human stories worth telling.
Supporting the efforts of FTII alumni in Mumbai and Pune, it is appealed that relief material in terms of clothes, medicines and stationery may be provided to the office of Arbhat Films till 25th August. Staff of NFAI will be contributing to the relief efforts by providing these items.
