Always wanted to learn photography but never had the chance.
Sameer Belvalkar, a leading fashion and lifestyle photographer, has organised a two-day workshop over the weekend especially for working professionals who haven’t had the time to learn photography.
learning how to hold the camera to playing with natural light, this workshop will teach you the basics of photography. The sole requirement of the course will be a DSLR Camera. This workshop will help you get comfortable with your DSLR by understanding semi-automatic and manual modes of exposure. There will be topics of discussion that are relevant even to the semi-professional photographers.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to click good pictures with the required equipment using minimum light to your advantage.
Belvalkar has shot publicity pictures for blockbusters like Jodhaa Akbar, My Name is Khan and We Are Family. He has done editorial, advertorial and personal shoots with celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra and Varun Dhawan to name a few. He is a self-taught photographer and has been working in the industry since the past 12 years.
About his photography style, he says, “My style is minimalistic. I emphasise on how much is required and I use only one light. I do not like too much editing on my photos as I prefer to make changes during the shoot itself. I have developed my style so much so that people are now able to spot my work.”
