Spearheaded by Parag Agarwal of Pune and developed by Supremus Developers, JanaJal Hybrid Water ATM has received the Innovation of the Year Award. At an event organised by Responsible Business Awards in Mumbai, JanaJal was also awarded the Best Community Leadership Programme.
JanaJal Hybrid water ATM is a standalone Water ATM that dispenses safe drinking water and is part of an initiative to provide water conforming to WHO standards at nominal rates in public places.
Parag Agarwal, Founder & CMD, JanaJal, also received the Social Entrepreneur of the Year award. He emphasised the focus on creating entrepreneurs with JanaJal Water ATMs ,thus ensuring sustainability of the project. JanaJal delivered more than 35 million litres safe drinking water at Pune, Nellore, Delhi, Varanasi, Siliguri and Chennai last year.
