HandsOfIndia exhibition showcases some fresh talent

In a bid to help the upliftment of artisans across India, HandsOfIndia is back with its annual exhibition for the third time in a row. HOI’s handcrafted apparels were out on display which included a brand new range of handcrafted western wear designed by students from NIFT, kurtas made from fine handwoven fabrics from Assam.
A special range of Phulia cotton and silk sarees were displayed at the exhibition. A wide range of products for daily wear such as the single count cotton sarees from Nuapatna, Orissa, were also available at the exhibition. This year, HOI has introduced its limited edition of handwoven kurtas made from mekhela chador, woven by its women artisans from Assam.
