Gyaan Adab brings you, jazzing with unusual instruments. Whilst jazz has been traditionally associated with wind and reed instruments as well as the piano, bass and drums, other instruments like the guitar, the vibraphone joined in, followed by the entry of unusual instruments like the Hammond Organ, the violin, and the tuba .Even more unusual was the entry of the harmonica, the harp and the accordion as well as the Middle Eastern oud and the European bandoneon.
Rammesh Venugopal will bring you the music of some of those who played these instruments in a jazz setting.
