Pune Photography Lover’s annual mega photo exhibition, Kalakriti is set to take place and display unique works in photography.
Watch out for Hemant Chhatre, a senior marketing professional who has been following bird photography since the past two years. To pursue this passion, he has not only travelled around Pune but also to places across the country like Chiplun, Bhigwan, Mayureshwar, Ganeshgudi, at Dandeli forest near Belgaum and Sattal in Uttarakhand. There are roughly 300 species as part of his collection.
Fascinated with nature, wildlife and architecture Chhatre was always in a dilemma whether to choose between his professional career or his hobby. He decided to follow his photography passion at the juncture of middle age.
Keen to push the boundaries, he has decided to delve deeper into the realm of wildlife photography, this time with mammals. He would also like to try his hand at micro photography.
Chhatre has been heading the marketing department at a renowned real estate company in Pune since the past 12 years.
“I have decided to explore more in the field of Wildlife photography with mammals. Interestingly, micro photography also appeals me. Looking forward to explore something more!”
