The awardwinning play ‘Ok, Tata, Bye Bye’ will be staged this Sunday at Nehru Memorial Hall. The play, written and produced by playwright Purva Naresh, is about two people who try to document the life of a sex worker only to discover how difficult it is to do so.
Dabbling in various art forms since her childhood, Purva is a known dancer and percussionist too. Her work includes Aaj Rang Hai and Umrao among others. Ok, Tata, Bye Bye has won her the Laadli Media Award for best play on gender sensitisation and the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Sangeet Natak Academy.
