Celebrating the spirit of International Women’s Day, Guldasta-e-Urdu brings an evening that commemorates six iconic women and their contributions to society through their work in varied disciplines like performance arts, writing and music.
Madhubala, Meena Kumari, Jeelani Bano, Parveen Shakir, Noor Jahan and Shamshad Begum are the personalities whose lives will be showcased. There will be Audio-Visual presentations, narrations and performances featuring Nasima Merchant, Mumtaz Peerbhoy, Vijaya Teksinghani, Nadia Sen Sharma, Rukhsana Mushtaq and Nitu Bajwa.
