Why cats make great pets.
- They are God’s cutest creation.
- They never let you do ANYTHING, like gardening, typing on the computer, cleaning a toilet or their litter tray, without supervising and encouraging you.
- They have the ability to stay never more than ten feet away from you, minding their own business.
- They wake up looking beautiful.
- They look great when they sleep.
- When you keep more than one, they warm your heart with the way they bond/play/fight with each other.
- They are natural good morning alarms.
- They are great bedtime companions, purring you to peaceful sleep.
- They keep you from getting too proud or arrogant when they give you an ‘Oh yeah?’ modesty-producing look.
Do you think the phrase cats have slaves is true?
Yes, it’s true. I am definitely a willing slave to my three. It also has to do with infection of the brain by the t.gondii parasite which is turning the whole world into cat-worshippers, just like it does with mice.
Do you ever think of getting any other pets?
I have had parrots, fish and dogs along with cats. But that was when I had a family. Now that I live alone, I don’t think I can have any other animal besides them.
