The move will provide a major boost to its strong presence of 140-plus stores which are open 24×7. Wellness Forever is on track to open 450 retail stores by FY21 across Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka. The company plans to open 58 stores in FY19.
Wellness Forever recently opened its 20th store in Pune, its 15th new store of the current financial year. The company has big plans to create an omni-channel model. On the strategic expansion plans, Mr. Gulshan Bakhtiani, one of the three Founder Directors, said,
“Pune is one of the important markets for us in Maharashtra and we are planning to increase our presence in the coming months. With Wellness Forever, our primary objective has always been to create a pharmacy plus lifestyle chain of stores which will cater to the needs of customers beyond medicines.
“We feel that customers should get a one-stop wellness experience where they can also get other healthcare essentials. We want to change the consumer experience, where our approach is proactive lifestyle management for consumer’s wellness rather than reactive care.”
To continue to serve its customers through emerging channels Wellness Forever is transforming itself into a hyper-local company. Orders received through its e-com platforms like mobile apps and website portal will be delivered at the customers’ doorsteps in 90 minutes.
This new 90 minutes’ promise will further strengthen customers trust in Wellness Forever and provide a major boost to its 140-plus stores operating 24×7. The hyper-local initiative will be launched in multiple phases starting shortly in its existing markets in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Pune.
