The kilometre-long virgin beach stretch dotted with palm trees and sea-facing hotels will make you believe that you are actually hundreds of kilometres away from the city.
It is a beach that is clean, peaceful and maintained well. Makes a good option for a day trip with family and friends or a weekend with your partner.
The Manori Village is dotted with small multi-coloured houses, the beach like aroma and little chapels and churches at regular intervals will remind you of Goa..!
Irrespective of whether you are the eternal night owl or the ‘Watch The Sunrise’ kind, Manori has it all on offer!
Manori is in close proximity of the Gorai beach and further up towards Bhayandar, the Uttan beach. The beaches nearby are open through the year and attract a lot of footfalls, especially during the vacations.
Swimming for the inclined is advisable only in broad daylight and only under expert supervision.
Soaking in the calm of the night on the beach sand and watching the waves roar can take all your worries away…! Or take the horse back/horse cart/ Camel rides ride or just a ferry to the centre of the sea to witness the setting sun right in front of you….
If going for a day, stock up on your picnic basket with loads of food and beverages to avoid the high-priced food available in and around the beach..
You can ofcourse buy the sweet corn, Ice-Gola’, lemon juice and tender coconuts and settle down on a rocky hillock to enjoy the environs.

Although lazying on this pristine beach is what we recommend, there are several options are available that include exploring the quaint chapels and temples, Uttan Beach, Gorai Beach, Essel World and Global Vipassana Pagoda meditation centre.
Reaching Manori:
Via Bengaluru -Mumbai Hwy/Mumbai – Pune Highway: Pune – Lonavla – Ghodbunder – Mira Bhayandar Road – Uttan – Manori. Can be reached by by car, bus, train or private vehicle.
Malad on the western line is the nearest railway station from Manori. An extended taxi ride directly to the beach, or a ferry adventure from Marve and a few kilometres walk, and you will be at your destination even before you realise it. It is a few minutes’ walk from Madh Island.
