“People Confuse Body Building With Fitness” – Rannvijay Singh

Rannvijay Singh

Rannvijay Singh Singha, the popular television host, known for his love for sports and fitness is all set to launch his own reality TV show, Fitness League of India (FLI) with Tarun Gill, a Fitness influencer and Mohit Joon.

We met with Rannvijay Singh and Tarun Gill (during the auditions for FLI at Multi Fit, Pune and got interesting insights into their life experience, their vision for fitness etc.

Rannvijay emphatically said,”Everyone thinks that having a great muscular body signifies the person is fit, but this is not the case. Often, the biggest bodybuilders in the world are unable play a sport. They are very lean and do not have enough carbs and fats to support their body. They may make use of https://buypeptidesusa.com/ products to help them maintain this muscle mass, though this varies a lot. Some body builders may look to other sources in order to get the most out of their workout; for instance, some may use cbd for energy as well as other natural remedies supplements that can help to build mass and give them protein. Both FLI team and Multi Fit believe in this ideology, hence we have collaborated for FLI.

“Through FLI we want to differentiate between body building and fitness. Body building is a sport and we equally respect it but we cannot confuse it with fitness. Lots of sports professionals don’t have a body but they are far fitter than others,” he adds.

Tarun Gill says, “Apart from providing a platform to people who are into fitness, not necessarily body building. FLI will give recognition to people and help them pursue a career they love the most.

“Like many other competitions in India, FLI will also be creating employment opportunities for many. From transport to content to moderation, we need manpower, generating employment for many.

“But the main thing is you got to love what you do. I went into the best of colleges, worked with companies having huge turnovers but I wasn’t happy. I eventually gave up all that to do what I loved. The reason we should do something is for passion and happiness,” he adds.

Speaking on the selection criteria, Rannvijay says, “For FLI, we are looking for the fittest person from the lot who have capability and ability. Looks will not earn them a brownie point for sure. We are looking for sports professionals, who work on endurance and strength. The reason we have come with Multi Fit in Pune because they have been doing this since day one,” he adds.

A reality check for all the fitness enthusiasts in Pune, Rannvijay says, “I would like to tell people that the kind of things people do these days to have a muscular body or attain six packs are not actually healthy. To get a kind of body if you are starving yourself or following a diet that is not healthy, you might have a body but you won’t be strong enough in the long run.

I have been playing only sports for last two years without hitting the gym and I am still fit. Fitness should be the ultimate motive.

“Many gyms in the B-towns of India are not aware about the hazardous effects of the chemicals and steroids they feed on the people to help them modify their body.

Fitness in India is not taken seriously. Here no one sees the trainers as professionals because we haven’t come over getting a job, earing huge and settling in life.

People are in depression when they are not fit and not looking good. They go through misery knowing the fact that they are unable to do certain tasks and at that point a trainer helps them to transform their life,” he adds.

Dr. Samir Kapoor, Co-Founder & CMD of Multi Fit says, “It is a complete paradigm shift. FLI is trying to get people into fitness by choice, people who want to make fitness as their career. Even parents do not believe that a career in fitness can actually take you places.

“It is helping fitness enthusiasts make a career out of their passion and helping them to earn and grow,” he adds.

Talking about his new born, Kainaat and how he manages time for family, Rannvijay says, “It is very upsetting to not be around the baby because every week she is developing. I try visiting her every month for a week and see the change and that’s how I manage my work and family time,” he adds.
