Fashion, style and glamour are three words that could best describe the Citadel Extravaganza 2016. The event, which was held last week at Le Méridien, saw several celebrities and notables in attendance. The winners for the evening were Farhan Makrani for Mr Citadel Pune and Trisha Mukherjee for Miss Citadel Pune 2016, who were ecstatic with joy as their names were announced.
The auditions for the contest were held earlier targeting age groups between 16 and 24 years. Of these contestants, seven men and women were shortlisted at a preliminary event and based on the judges’ scores on factors like overall personality, presence of mind, confidence and a ramp walk, the 14 finalists were chosen.
The event saw each contestant answering questions with a humorous twist that charmed the judges and members of the audience with their wit. The contestants were also allowed to pose questions to the judges in turn. Taking over the spotlight once more in full swing, the contestants carried themselves with poise and elegance. Citadel Extravaganza 2016 saw celebrities like Zayed Khan, Kainaat Arora and Shama Sikander, who graced the event with their presence and were also a part of the judging panel.
The first runner-up for Mr Citadel Pune was Jilson T followed by Bhavika Talwar for Miss Citadel Pune 2016. Sarthak Kholi was the second runner-up for Mr Citadel Pune 2016 along with Tanya Yadav for Miss Citadel Pune 2016.
The contestants who won the other titles for the evening include Kaustubh Phansalkar for Citadel’s Mr Physique 2016 and Komal Gholap for Citadel’s Miss Physique 2016. Pratish Kawathekar and Trisha Mukherjee won the title of Citadel’s Mr and Miss Photogenic 2016. And finally, the title for Citadel’s Best Smile 2016 was given to Jilson T and Tanya Yadav.
