The legacy of Indian weaves dates back to ancient India.

Patronised by royalty, the varieties of weaves produced since then have mesmerised the world. The varieties are very special and reflect the social, economic and aesthetic ethos of the region.

The economic, social and cultural variations of a region are reflected in the weaves and textiles that originate from there. And the varieties derive their names from the place of origin. Be it be the Kanjivaram of Tamilnadu, the Dharmavaram, venkatgiri of Andhra Pradesh, Gadwal and Pochampally of Telangana, The Chanderi & Maheshwari of Madhya Pradesh, the kota Doria of Rajasthan, the Paithani of Maharashtra, the Banaras of Uttar Pradesh, the Baluchari of west Bengal or the Sambalpuri of Orissa, all of them originate in places of their names.

WEAVES, The cotton and silk spectrum, organised by M/s Reavthi Creative Communications Pvt. Ltd from Hyderabad is reviving some of the dying textile arts and providing the uniqueness of Indian handlooms to customers. There are sarees, dress materials, fabrics, kurtas, kurtis and home linen.
