Walk to spread awareness on reducing pollution

August 27, 2016, saw a large number of people walk for a cause; that of reducing pollution levels in Pune. The event was a collaboration between Mrs Neha Yeole and Mitti ke Rang, a youth organization. Neha, founder of Walk it out Talk it out, has been encouraging people to walk towards a healthier life and has also addressed the issue of rising levels of pollution.

‘Walk more and plant more trees’ was the main agenda of the event. Taking off from Dagdushet Ganpati Mandir at 4 am,Neha was joined by over 600 people including volunteers from Mitti Ke Rang and others NGOs. The walk which took over 11 hrs, culminated at the Pune University.

The determination and never say die attitude of Neha and the volunteers, ensured that the event was a grand success.
