As the city of Pune, along with other cities of Maharashtra, vote for their respective municipal corporations, Pate Developers has tried to address the confusion of the voters.
They have launched a film conceptualised by Brand Pickle.
The digital film, of about two minutes, tries to use music and entertainment as a form of educating voters in an interesting way about the perennial dilemma – “Whom do I vote for?”
The video has a God and a set of bandwallahs who try and educate the common man about casting his vote wisely.
Rapping to a witty Marathi song “Please Go Vote”, the common man is informed about all the goons, corrupt, illiterate and other so-called leaders who don’t care for the city and its problems. The group asks them not to vote for such people who only make false promises.
The film concludes with a message that underlines the power of voting and appeals to every individual to use this tool of democracy to elect an honest representative.
