Vishwakarma Vidyalaya English medium School, has been selected for the establishment of Atal Tinkering Laboratories by the Govt. of India, NITI Aayog, New Delhi. The students, with help from the faculty worked on 2 projects, namely, Solid waste Management and Solution for traffic issues. The government has sanctioned a grant of Rs.20 lakhs and the management has provided an area of 1800 sq. feet for the establishment of the laboratories.
The laboratories will be set up within six months from the date of allotment of funds. The team along with the experts will organize workshops, science fairs, science clubs and various competitions, to provide a platform for young innovative minds to explore their talents in the field of Science and Technology. These labs will be available to all enthusiastic students from schools in Pune.
