When it comes to finger food, Pune has much to offer.  Be it authentic Goan food, Maharshtrian cuisine, Indian, Mexican or Korean, we have it all. Yet, when it comes to finding interesting vegetarian starters and small bites, it remains a daunting task.

Dahi Cheese Ki Tikki , Publiq

With a huge space, romantic rooftop ambience and a new edition to the IT-hub of Pune, Publiq serves quirky cocktails and other drinks. They also offer some lip smacking bite size vegetarian appetisers. The Dahi Cheese Ki Tikki is fresh curd and cottage cheese kebabs that are crisp fried for texture. Apart from this soft, melt in the mouth dish, they also serve Chilly Teriyaki Broccoli (broccoli tossed in chilly teriyaki sauce) for a hot explosion in the mouth.

Jalapenos and Mozzarella cigars , Tales & Spirits

A casual dining spot at Senapati Bapat Road, T & S, a happening hotspot offer some cheesy, gooey snacks. Be it the Jalapenos and Mozzarella cigars (jalapeno, potato, mozzarella served in a crunchy outer skin) or the Jalapenos, potatoes and cheese croquettes, the stringy mozzarella stuffing makes it worth paying a visit.

A quirky casual dinning spot with a smart ambience and cozy seating, this place is also known for vegetarian small bites. Winning a spot in our list is their Aam Papad Paneer (paneer and lotus stem tossed with special sun-dried mangoes and street food spices) exuding an Amritsar ‘pind’ vibe,. The spices that are directly sourced from Amritsar, won’t disappoint even the hard-core meat maniac.

Funghi Agli Olio , Effingut Brewerkz

One of the cities lively bars, Effingut Brewerkz in a popular hang out with the cities youth, Be it the ambience, gaming sessions, gigs, food or the hospitatlity, it definitely earns some brownie points much like their Funghi Agli olio (whole button mushrooms in a cheesy garlic).

Chanaga Pappu Vada, Savya Rasa

A space serving South Indian, Mangalorean, Kerala and Chettinad dishes, the place offers a traditional touch to the city. Do not miss their Chanaga Pappu Vada (deep fried patties of Bengal lentils with chopped green chillies, ginger and spices, served with coconut and coriander chutney) for an interesting southern experience.
