On January 15th, Prashant Kumar from India and Ben Reid-Howells from Canada will set out to ride from Pune to Edinburgh, Scotland, on a journey covering 25,000 kms and 2 years on the road. Named after the Sanskrit phrase, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, this is a project-driven journey of collaborations with communities, on projects for peace and sustainable living.
A fundraiser for this undertaking is being held this Sunday, January 8, at Forest Park, Viman Nagar, with a pop-up festival of music, workshops with Pune artists, food and drinks.
