CURATED BY VCW ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS: The scene depicts a woman dressed in traditional attire going to the temple. It is a desire for any woman to look beautiful and this particular tendency of females catches your attention in this picture. There are various details about the Maharashtrian lady’s nine yard saree and other peculiar details about the temple, the curtains, tiles and walls. There is a vibrant use of festive colours like magenta, purple, orange, bright green makes you wonder how a 13 year old can draw so beautifully. Indeed, a masterpiece by Lisa.
