Stay Safe And Enjoy Ehe Ride..

Savitribai Phule Pune University

Savitribai Phule Pune University, one of the premier universities in India and has the highest density of flora and fauna, covering an area of about 411 acres.

The lush green by-lanes within the university precincts and the backdrop of the stone clad monumental buildings will give you an exhilarating cycling experience. One can spot various local and migratory birds, large colourful butterflies too.

A cyclist at Bhor GhatChandani Chowk

A stroll across the city from the entrance of the university to Chandani Chowk right upto the NDA is another fantastic route. While there are restrictions to enter NDA, you can ride till the gates and enjoy the unique sights of the city. The route from Savitribai Phule Pune University to Chandni Chowk looks like a Necklace on the city map, also known as the Necklace Road.

Bhandara Hills

This uphill climb will give you a perfect workout session. The widely paved access road is appropriate for cycling enthusiasts to enjoy a full body cardio amidst the scenic terrain. And yes, without the crowds and traffic to bother you!

Kasarsai Dam

Located near Hinjewadi IT park, a quick cycling trip to the dam is ideal for a weekend getaway. On getting here, you can hone your skills in bird watching, sight-seeing and have a pristine view of the sunset. Ideally, cycle early morning and come back, before it its taken over by commuters and vehicles. The evenings here are quite serene.

Panshet Dam

The regulars say that cycling to Panshet Dam through Sinhagad is the best the route to enjoy a good riding day. One can often spot a lot of regular cycling groups or families coming here to spend some quality time amidst the tranquility.
