Artist: Samar Bansal
Age: 12 years
Medium: water colours and pencils
CURATED BY VCW ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS: This is a great drawing by a 12-year-old with the perfect use of the medium and the theme. The half side of the tiger is shaded in grey, showing tigers in an endangered mode whereas the other half is coloured with greenery showing the hope of them getting saved. What catches the viewer is the expression in the tiger’s eye. This is accompanied with the perfect slogan, ‘Why should they hide?’
Samar is currently a design student at a reputed design college.
