Hrithik Roshan rocks, Shahid Kapoor can shake a leg well, but Salman Khan can’t dance. He is among the chosen few who are born with two-left feet. They may be blessed with wonderful acting skills but put them on the floor or in the perennial park, and they simply pose or shake, rattle and roll.
It is frightfully embarrassing to watch them chasing their screen sweethearts among nature’s bounty or stamp and shake a leg awkwardly in a bid to eat the floor.
Without much ado, let us look at some of those for whom God looked the other way when it came to their feet-
Dharmendra
A handsome star, well-built, with great acting skills. But the legs are made of pure wood which he would move very awkwardly. Even his love for the stronger liquids wouldn’t have got him to do a jig. The song Yamla Pagla Deewana from the film Pratigya is proof of the awkward activity.
Jackie Shroff
Jackie Shroff got better at acting as time went by and came up with some strong performances particularly in Parinda and Ram Lakhan. Shroff was and still is one of the best dressed actors in Bollywood. Can’t dance but was clever enough to pose effectively.
Sunny Deol
Like his father, a one-time great actor but lacking in dancing skills. His attempts at thumping the earth can make the planet and his co-star Ghayal. Watch the song Yaara O Yaara from Jeet at your own risk and spot cracks on the planet.
Sanjay Dutt
Can act, can’t dance. Watching his long legs move like a piston is an absolute nightmare. Fast-forward all songs where he attempts the Dutt Dance.
Abhay Deol
A superb actor who is not afraid to take on challenging roles. But his iron rod legs and stiff hip makes him look like a joker. Oye Not Lucky Lucky Oye.
Suniel Shetty
The last action hero is a dud on the dance floor. Thankfully he admits it. Take a walk whenever he dances and get the circulation going in your limbs.
Ajay Devgn
The Stuntman can act, but dancing and Devgn are poles apart. His stiff movements or lack of it can be as painful as a toothache. If watching at home, use the fast-forward button frequently.
Arjun Rampal
Looks like a Greek God but Zeus did not bless him with dancing. Better to dissect his good looks than watch him make a fool of himself on the floor.
Salman Khan
Our dear Salman, or Sallu, has a striking body and a braveheart image in Bollywood. But the Dabangg hero is a zero on the dancing front. With his habit of frequently removing his shirt, count his chest hairs if any, instead of watching the limb.
