The girls of Sadhu Vaswani International School celebrated Raksha Bandhan with injured soldiers at the Queen Mary Technical Training Institute last weekend. Handmade rakhis were tied and sweets distributed to the soldiers.
The children were inspired and touched by the stories the soldiers had to tell.
The Queen Mary Institute trains and rehabilitates injured soldiers by providing them with new skills.
