The Organisers of Mahitiahikar Bachao Andalon (Save RTI Campaign) are organizing a peaceful public protest on Tuesday, 30th July, on the footpath of Jangli Maharaj Road, near Balgandharva Rang Mandir.
This is being organised to protest against the RTI Amendment Bill 2019, which, has been passed by the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha last week – thereby diluting the powers of the Information Commissions.
The protest would be essentially a peaceful gathering where citizens will light diyas or candles or torches or mobile torches.
Time: 6 pm to gather there and lighten up with the torches as soon as the sun sets

Venue: Footpath of Jangli Maharaj Road near Balgandharva Rang Mandir.
