Punewaali Kicks Off With Sonalee Kulkarni, RJ Shonali And Sudha Menon

SheThePeople.TV launched their first chat show, celebrating the women of Pune.

The launch featured Natarang actor Sonalee Kulkarni and popular Radio City RJ Shonali.

The event was moderated by well-known author Sudha Menon. Punewaali is set to be a monthly program to put the spotlight on women achievers in Pune. Sudha Menon, a former journalist and the author of four best-selling non-fiction books.

“I have dreamed of having my chat show when I was a child, and it is sheer happiness to be a part of it” says Sudha Menon.

“She the people TV has brought two people accomplished women which share the same name, lives in Pune city and have carved admirable niches for themselves together in touch with live audience for the discussion,” she adds.

The Radio City Pune’s Rj has a fan following of her own. The girl is from Aurangabad trained to be a journalist, took baby steps to Radio jockey after her marriage.

“I try to make my radio show very happy and positive. I am proud to have a supporting family and my mother-in-law is my biggest supporter,” says RJ Shonali.

“When I retire from being an Radio Jockey I would definitely write a book” she adds.

Sonalee Kulkarni is a leading actor in Marathi Film industry, and has worked in two Bollywood movies. “When I auditioned for my first film, I didn’t know Marathi because my mom is Punjabi and we belong from an Army background”, says actor Sonalee Kulkarni.

“My parents have always been my pillar of support and having them here tonight by my side has only brought me more strength and joy.” She adds.
