The one-day trunk show by ASAL- a diffusion label by renowned designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla swept Puneites off their feet at Jhelum Fashion House. The fashion conscious’ gathered under one roof to shop for the label’s ready-to-wear festival line.
An ardent fan of the designers expresses “I am glad that at least for once I did not have to travel to Mumbai to get my hands on this brand”.
On display were the duo’s popular collections like Jaali Mirror, Solid Mirror, Hibiscus, New Temple Gota, Devdas and Ikat Gota with range starting from 20000 rupees. The label is known for its classic timeless pieces and doing complete justice to Indian motifs and silhouettes!
Business Head of the ASAL, Gia Sharan feels, “Pune has a flourishing market for high end fashion for quite some time now. The sole reason to conduct this trunk show was to cater to the loyal customer base in Pune and to give a taste to the potential clientele”.
Talking about Pune’s response, Gia affirms, “The response has been splendid. Many ensembles have been sold and many women have zeroed down on the outfits that they will buy in the near future.” An ASAL store in Pune is a distinct possibility she added.
