Presenting.. Zeus Keegan & Deasy Pursley !

When he wants a shower, he has figured out how to turn the shower on in his bath. He can open doors, drawers and cupboards. At a little over a year, Zeus Keegan the labrador is a smart cookie. He snatches mom Deasy Pursley’s phone and runs away with it when he is angry. If she is busy on the phone when he needs her attention, the year old lab decimates her charger.

 If mom goes out too long, Zeus opens her cupboard and tears her shoes or clothes, so everything is under lock and key. “There was a month that I bought three chargers! But I can’t be angry with him. I can’t live without Zeus,” says Deasy, a Yoga instructor.

For everything, he needs mom. The only time he wants dad is early morning. “He takes his leash to my husband Jeremy Pursley. He is really an intelligent dog,” smiles the proud Deasy.

Spoilt with all the fussing and the love that Deasy showers on him, Zeus is much her shadow, staying by her side when she is at home. “When I’m eating, he keeps pawing me and smacking his chops. He has to taste what I have. If I don’t listen, he talks to me. And I talk to him a lot, when I wake up, when I’m happy, when I’m cooking, when I’m angry, when I’m sad. He listens lovingly,” says Deasy.

Deasy wanted only a labrador because they are friendly, playful and energetic. “I saw him in the litter and fell in love. Zeus has all the qualities and great intelligence as well.” Fond of the outdoors, the boy goes for hikes and outdoor activities. When he is at home, he is busy digging up the garden or playing in the water when the gardener comes. “He loves being in water! So I tell the gardener to let him enjoy himself. I can clean him up later,” smiles Deasy as her boy dances in the sprinkle and digs a nice hole for the gardener to fill up!
