Dog Denied Run For Governor

A dog in the US was left scratching his head when he was denied a chance to run for governor, according to a report.

The three-year-old wire-haired Vizsla in Kansas, named Angus was registered by his owner for governor, says a Reuters report but the secretary of state’s office has halted the campaign to put his pooch in politics.

“His platform was going to be free Chuckit balls for life,” said Terran Woolley, of Hutchinson.
“He is a little heartbroken and a little relieved because he doesn’t have to go to all those pointless debates,” Woolley said.

Woolley said he registered Angus after reading news reports that teenagers had filed candidacy paperwork and there were almost no requirements on who could run.

Postman Who Never Rings Even Once

If you live in Vicenza and wondered why some old mails went missing, then blame it on the postman!

Italian police have arrested a postman from the northern town of Italy after finding more than half a tonne of undelivered mail stashed away in his garage.

Police were called in when workers from a recycling plant were sent to empty the garage and found 43 yellow plastic postal containers stuffed full of letters, bills, bank statements and even electoral pamphlets dating back to 2010, according to Reuters.

They added that it was the largest ever haul of undelivered mail in Italy. The Vicenza postal service has promised to deliver the huge pile of post, albeit several years late.

Taking The Easy Way Out

An airline passenger was arrested after leaving a plane delayed on the tarmac at a Spanish airport via the emergency exit, says a report.

Passenger Fernando Del Valle Villlobos captured the incident in a video that showed the man walking along the wing with his bag in hand, says Reuters.

Del Valle Villlobos said the Ryanair flight had left London an hour late and passengers were then held on the plane for a further 30 minutes after landing in Malaga, without explanation from the airline.

Ryanair said: “Malaga airport police immediately arrested the passenger in question and since this was a breach of Spanish safety and security regulations.”

Be Warned When Staying With Friends

A mother who was staying with some friends as a change from routine ended up getting stressed, according to a report.

For this mum, it’s become a bit of a stressful situation. She was getting lesser calories to eat which spoilt her idyllic holiday, according to the Mirror.

However, other members of the party didn’t seem to have the same issues. Her friends were all around a size 8/10 and they seem stuffed but she felt very hungry..

The mum has done some sums and believed her daily calorie intake was 1,600 calories (the recommendation for women is 2000). By her estimation she needs at least 2,800.

“So, embarrassingly, I must eat around 3,000 a day, as I eat twice as much as I am having right now,” she added
