You just can’t use aliens as a reason for delaying the payment of your taxes in Britain.

As Britain’s deadline for annual tax returns looms, revenue authorities have warned they will be keeping a sharp lookout for any mention of aliens, says Reuters.

Seeking to encourage taxpayers to file their returns by January 31, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs gave some examples of excuses for delays it had received and rejected.

“I couldn’t file my return on time as my wife has been seeing aliens and won’t let me enter the house,” was one explanation that did not pass muster.

Expense claims rejected by officials included, veterinary fees for a rabbit, birthday drinks at a Glasgow nightclub, vertigo and 250 days’ worth of sausages and chips.

Close Encounters Of The Road Kind

Aliens can stop cars on roads if a retired teacher in Britain is to be believed, according to a report.

The teacher, Jean Bradley, 79, claims aliens were behind a bizarre encounter as the car she and her husband were travelling in mysteriously stopped on a busy road, a report in the Daily Star revealed..

She says that she saw mysterious lights in the nearby fields. The car started again once the lights disappeared.

Strange UFO’s ‘Abduct’ Car

A camping trip turned a nightmare not for the campers but for a car, dog, and a tent, if a man is to be believed, says a report.

A man from Wales said he and his friends who were camping spotted 12 to 15 UFOs over their camping site he said, according to a report in Liveverse. The UFOs left them alone but abducted their car, dog and tent for some unknown reason.

Why so many spaceships were used for just three objects and why they were abducted instead of stolen is indeed strange.

Newsmen Worse Than Aliens

A man in Wisconsin, US, seemed unperturbed when a spaceship landed near his backyard, says a report.

Joe Simonton of Eagle River said “Italian-looking” aliens disembarked from the spaceship and set up a grill, according to Liveverse. Then they started making pancake-like food. Rather than abducting or threatening Simonton, they asked him through mime to fill a jug with water, which he did.

He asked them for some food and they gave four of those pancakes to him, of which he ate one. He sent one for research which showed the ingredients of those pancakes were of earthly origin.

Simonton said he was more bugged by jostling journalists than the aliens.

The Blonde Big-Bodied Beings

Congressional candidate Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera claims she was friends with aliens when she was a child.

A report in The Miami Herald said that YouTube videos have surfaced in which the former Doral city council member says she was visited by aliens when she was seven years old. Her extraterrestrial friends have also slipped her a few telepathic DMs since that meeting.

According to the story, the visit was a low-key event. Just tea-time with “three blond, big-bodied beings”, who showed her around the ship and shared some timeless knowledge.

The Scar That Unites

Actress Fran Drescher believes that she was programmed to meet her former husband Peter Marc Jacobson because both saw aliens when they were young, says a report.

“You know, it’s funny because Peter and I both saw (aliens) before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads,” Fran says, according to the Huffington Post.

“We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realised that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot.”

But Peter wasn’t so convinced of the couple’s extraterrestrial pasts. He says Fran got the small scar on her hand from a drill bit or burning herself holding a hot cup of water which Fran refutes.
