Mulshi pattern is directed by Pravin Vitthal Tarde.

The director Pravin Tarde has done a sterling job of the movie as its writer and director. He incidentally also plays the important role of Nanya Bhai, a gangster.

The film is about the rapid development in Mulshi Taluka, which forces a farmer’s son to become a criminal. Urbanisation is rapid over the past two decades and in this film, the consequences are not restricted to Mulshi alone but the country at large.

The story revolves around the son named Rahul(OM Bhutkar) of Sakharam (Mohan Joshi), a farmer.

Sakharam sells his land for a huge some of money offered by a builder. After selling his land, he gets his daughter married and buys a car.

Unfortunately, his daughter returns from her in-laws and Sakharam has to vacate his big house in the village. The family then moves to a nearby city for their livelihood where the father works as a labourer in the market yard while the son keeps blaming his father for selling the land.

The son Om Bhutkar has completely justified the role and has done a fantabulous job in the movie. The son wants quick money and soon he gains the trust of Nanyabhay a gangster and becomes one to take revenge against the builders and others taking farmers land.

A sterling performance by Upendra Limaye as the Police officer Kadu who uses the divide and rule strategy to tame the criminals.

The film describes a very important social issue and the talented Pravin Tarde has made a successful attempt in conveying, that irrespective of anything, never take law into your own hands.

The film allows us the viewer to understand the reality of a poor farmers life. It has got the Fine cinematography by Mahesh Limaye and the music by Tushar Pandit has enhanced the movie further.

Mahesh Manjrekar plays father to a beautiful daughter Deepali (Malvika Gaikwad) who sells tea for her livelihood and is in love with Rahul( Om Bhutkar) for his courageous character.

The other members of the cast have supported the movie well, Kshitij Date as Rahul’s close friend, Sunil Abhyankar as a criminal lawyer, Ajay Purkar as Shinde Builder and Savita Malpekar as Rahul’s mother.

Certainly a movie worth watching and the crowds throning the theatre is ample justification of the storyline and cinematic expression.
