CURATED BY VCW ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS: The young artist’s native place is Jaipur, Rajasthan. She has seen what rural life is like. All her memories and observations can be seen in this ‘desert fair’. The details include tall jokers, bangle sellers, potters, puppet shows with desert hills and camels in the background. The whole painting has an effect of sand colour treatment, yellow, peach and pink dominates the entire picture and actually gives the feeling of being in the desert.
A unique art showcase featuring creative children from Pune curated by Pune’s very own artist couple Minoo and Sheil Sadwelkar of VCW fame (Established in 1969 in Mumbai, restructured in Pune in 1999). The VCW Academy Of Fine Arts is known for its passion to nurture young artistic talent in our city.
