A grand celebration was organized by them at Krishna Avtaar Sanskritik Bhavan, Punyadham Ashram and it was attended by more than 600 people from different walks of life – Maharashtra Bhushan Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare and Padma Bhushan Dr. VijayBhatkar, Chancellor of Nalanda University. Among the organizers were Shri Ulhasdada Pawar- ex-minister of Maharashtra, Shri V.S Ankalkote Patil and Adv Shashikant Page who held the post of Chairperson of Shree Vitthal Rukmini Temple Committee, Pandharpur, for ten years and also practised in High Court for many years.
Milind Kulkarni, a well-known Marathi compere welcomed everyone for this grand occasion and followed by the felicitations of Chief Guests. Maa was then honoured with the prestigious award and a cheque of Rs. 1,11,000/- by the gracious Maharashtra Bhushan Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare and Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar.
In her humble speech, she expressed how much happiness and a sense of belonging she gets from each and every one she meets. Maa said that the love she receives is more important to her than all the recognition and awards. She reiterated how fortunate she is that she has such a huge family spread out all over the world.
Deepak Paigude, esteemed Trustee with his team from Loksewa Group also felicitated Maa for her outstanding service towards the under-privileged over these years.
